Mubasher: Kuwait crude oil rose by $0.46, to close at $66.94 per barrel (pb) on Monday, compared with $66.48 pb in Friday settlement, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said.

Outside Kuwait, oil prices hit their highest levels in three months worldwide by the end of Monday, after the US and China hammered a ‘Phase One’ trade deal, and Washington dropped a scheduled round of tariffs on Chinese goods.

International benchmark Brent crude futures settled $0.10 higher at $65.32 pb, while US Nymex futures edged up by $0.4 to $60.03 pb.
